Aquarium in a lightbulb tutorial - Advanced!

Ok, I'll admit it...I have serious ADD and I get bored easily and need a change of scenery. When I get like that I love to go search for the coolest tutorial I can find for PS. They take hours sometimes, and they are completely different.

It lets me stretch my creative legs! :)

This is what I did the other day:

Pretty cool huh? Best part is you can really add or take away anything you want!

I think the part to remember with these type of things is making it your own a little and not copying every little thing.

I changed fish, moved things around a bit, and even added coral to the back ground.

Here is the link to the tutorial -  Aquarium inside a lightbulb tutorial

Tips:
  •  On some of the things like the sand castle, and what I did with my coral - I set the layer mode to Multiply to skip some of the shadowing and blending steps.
  • Also with like the shells, if you just put the first shell you make into a group and then hit CTRL J it will duplicate the shell. No need to redo it all. Just hit CTRL T after duplicating and move and resize the way you want it. If you hit the SHIFT key while resizing it does not distort it.
Have fun and Good Luck!!

Love Session - Pam and Buddha

I have known Pam my entire life.

One of those my Mom and her were best friends (still are) and our families were always together. Vacations, holidays, and weekends.
8 years ago Pam’s life completely changed. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.
It definitely was a surprise – but when is it ever expected?
After ups and downs she was a survivor! A Survivor!  She lost her hair, she lost her breast, she lost a lot of things and when all hope was lost she still was tough and “fought like a girl” and came out on top!

Fast forward some time and the breast cancer has moved to her lungs. Back to chemo, back to radiation, back to no hair and feeling miserable.
I don’t care how tough you are, how much you fight you always need a support system. Pam has a great support system! Including her daughter whom has blessed her with her first grandson, and her love Buddha.

Gah! Love!!

I believe there is a special person out there for each one of us. Our rock. Pam has found her rock, and I am happy she shared that with me.
Last Friday was her last and final chemo treatment for the lung cancer…for now.
For now the cancer is at bay. For now she can live her life. For now she can enjoy her grandson. For now she can enjoy love. For now she has defeated this thing called cancer again!
She has all of our love and support!
She reminds me every day to live my life to the fullest and appreciate every breath!
